Embodied Performing Arts Program

The Embodied Performing Arts training, for professional practitioners in dance, performance art, theater, and music, provides a laboratory for self-study that deepens and refines the creative process and performance work. Facilitated by Katy Dymoke and Mark Chandlee Taylor, the 140-hour training offers artists an experiential anatomical understanding of the body and its evolutionary movement processes. That understanding enables you to experience how your evolutionary past directly influences your life, your professional practice, and your presence in your work on stage and in the studio.

By delving into your body’s movement patterns you will discover an infinite palette of possibilities to enrich your personal creative process. Carefully structured embodiment practices provide an opportunity for you to refine your work and to distill the authenticity of your artistic vision and voice.
