Embodying the Organs

Tuesday Workshop Series with Mark Taylor and Wendy Mackin at Himalayan Institute of Pittsburgh | $10 per class

Your organs process nutrients entering and leaving your body and help maintain equilibrium in the chemical and fluid components of your being. At the same time, they can provide dimensionality to your movement, access to your emotional body, and a soft internal support for your skeletal system.
Working with your organs helps to establish and maintain healthy patterns of posture and movement.
Each class in the “Embody Your Organs” series will highlight one organ or organ system, which will be
presented anatomically and explored through meditation, touch, movement, and asana.
The workshops are appropriate for yoga and somatic practitioners at any level of proficiency.
Please join us for any or all of the classes!

Embodied Wisdom

changing seasons center for conscious living
300 cedar hill drive
mcmurray, pa 15317

Sun, April 3: 2–5pm. $48.

Explore the three centers of wisdom: your gut, your heart, and your head-brain. "When you
listen to the knowledge of your guts, your heart can rest, radiate, and receive love. "If your guts
and heart are at ease, the chatter of your head-brain can become quiet. "By identifying and
consciously working with these centers, you can open to your true embodied wisdom and rest in
self-awareness. Allowing the intelligence of each center to work in harmony with the others,
you can expand your understanding of yourself and the world, and re-pattern unhelpful
responses to stress.
